On April 23, 2010, the Rutgers Law Record at Rutgers School of Law–Newark held a symposium entitled “Lead Paint Poisoning and the Law." The symposium featured presentations from practitioners who work in toxic tort litigation and those looking to expand their practice were able to hear panelists discuss the successes and failures that policy makers, attorneys, and municipalities have faced through litigation and legislation, as well as new strategies, aimed at redressing this problem. After the panels, attendees were invited to participate in breakout sessions.
